2Baba, Wife Engage in Heated Exchange During Instagram Live

Afrobeats icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, became the centre of attention on Monday after an unexpected off-camera quarrel erupted during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.

The livestream featured two former members of 2Baba’s management team, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, who accused Natasha of exerting excessive control over the singer’s personal and professional life. They also alleged that she had a history of violent outbursts, citing past incidents involving the couple — including an alleged domestic disturbance in the United Kingdom.

Midway through the discussion, 2Baba abruptly joined the session and instructed his former managers to stop commenting on his private affairs. Shortly afterwards, raised voices — believed to be those of the singer and his wife — were heard in the background. The session ended abruptly moments later.

The incident has intensified public interest in the couple’s relationship, which became public earlier in the year after 2Baba confirmed his separation from actress Annie Idibia in January. He proposed to Osawaru in February, and the pair married in July.

This latest controversy follows earlier claims that the singer was briefly detained by UK police after an alleged altercation with Natasha during his tour in October. Although 2Baba denied the arrest, saying he missed a scheduled performance due to a medical emergency, the allegations resurfaced after Monday’s livestream.
